Wow, we’re winding down the fantasy season in a hurry.  This is the time of the year where guys can really make a name for themselves or earn a better contract than they deserve.   I really start looking for the young guys to shine.  Here’s a look at this week’s Starts and Benches.

I’ll take an ok week like 9-7.  I missed badly on some games like Monday night but DAL and OAK came through for me like I had hoped.  Week 12 brought my season totals to 92-81-4.  Looking at Week 13, 3 games are on Thursday.   I like the home teams to flourish in this situation.  I also like a lot of favorites during this holiday week.  That reminds me, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you NFL fans out there!  

I guess 3 strikes and I’m out.  I admit I didn’t think the Jets had anything on the Titans.  Upon further review, I was wrong.  It looked like the Titans were confused and out of gas.  Maybe they were feeling the pressure of being undefeated.   Anyways, if you have made it this far, you are probably down to very few choices.   This week I’m leaning towards Indy, Baltimore and Buffalo.  I think the Jets will be tired after road victories in TEN and NE.   DEN could be a trap game for them.  I’ll go with Buffalo at home versus a SF team traveling east.  West coast teams never travel well to the East coast.

I’m predicting big things for these players in the coming weeks!

1. RB Pierre Thomas - He’s got talent and Bush ain’t coming back!

2. WR Kevin Walter - With AJ drawing doubles, this guy is having a year!

3. RB Darren McFadden - Time to get him back!

4. WR Lance Moore - Still available in 15% of leagues!

5. QB Matt Cassell - maybe not this week vs. PIT but he’s still available in 14% of leagues!

 Last week I had some technical difficulties and I didn’t get this article written.  I apologize for that.  Here’s a look at this week’s Starts and Benches.

Bad, Bad, Bad week last week.  I started 2-8 but ended at 7-9.  Yuck!  Anyways, Week 11 brought my season totals to 83-74-4.  Looking at Week 12, I need some teams I don’t like to come through like DAL and OAK.  

Well, well, well.  I’ve now given you survivors that have won by 1 and 2 points in the last 2 weeks.  If you are taking advice from me, I imagine you are about ready to fire me.  Anyways, if you have made it this far, you are probably down to very few choices.  I really wanted to tell you to take Pittsburgh but I didn’t get this entry written fast enough.  My recommendation for week 12 is to take the most under-rated undfeated team in recent memory, Tennesse Titans.  Why is everyone thinking the Jets have a chance.  I think this is easily a 2 TD win for the Titans!!

Geez, I want to complain but I’ll take an 8-6 week.  I was headed for a big week but the Thursday, Sunday an dMonday night games got in my way again.  And I’ve already missed the Thursday night game this week.   Anyways, Week 10 brought my season totals to 76-65-4.  Looking at Week 11, it seems that I like too many road teams for my own good.  

Just a note for those that do this kind of thing.  I’m taking the Patriots (-3) vs. Jets tonight!
