Week 16 was mediocre.  It started great and then the bottom fell out on Sunday afternoon.  Week 16 brought my season totals to 123-111-7.  Looking at Week 17, there are many teams still fighting for a chancce.     Good luck!Sportsbook

The season is into the playoffs for most of you.  Everyone is looking for that one replacement start to push them over the top.   If the Arizona Cardinals’ players pushed you into the playoffs you probably lost last week.  If not, I’m telling  you to bench them this week.  Here’s a look at this week’s Starts and Benches.

Week 15 was a disaster at 4-9-3.   I didn’t lose many games by much but it was enough.  Week 15 brought my season totals to 115-103-7.  Looking at Week 16, I have gotten off to a 1-1 start already.     Is it me or is there a trend with road teams lately?!Sportsbook

These Thursday night games are tough on handicappers.  I would be careful with this IND at JAC game.  I thought Del Rio’s bunch had given up on the season but it appears they still want to defend their home turf.  I like the Jaguars to lose by less than 6.5 points.  JAC (+6.5) vs. IND

SurvivorPhilly made the game closer than it should have been but won.  Cleveland was bad, very bad.  This week seems tough.  My pick of the week is Denver.   They play a team that has given up and they really want to wrap-u pthe division this week!  Be wary of NO at DET.  It might be DET’s last chance to win a game in 2008.

As some head into the playoffs, many of you need to find a diamond in the rough to fill in a key spot.  Here’s my top recommendations at each position.

1. RB Deshaun Foster, Cedric Benson - Good matchups.

2. WR Issace Bruce - Going home again!

3. QB Tavaris Jackson, Dan Orlovsky - Desperate times, Desperate measures!

4. TE Greg Olsen - Getting more looks lately!

5. K Joe Nedney, Garrett Hartley - See matchups!

6. DST Cowboys - Play so-so BAL offense!

Ok, not a phenominal week but any week over .500 (9-7) is worth keeping.   I got off to a bit of a rough start but Sunday afternoon helped pull me ahead.  Week 14 brought my season totals to 111-94-4.  Looking at Week 15, we have had a push already.   I seem to like a whole bunch of home teams this week!  Sportsbook

SurvivorOk, back on track with an easy Indy win.  This week seems very easy as well.  If you can take Indy again, I would.  If not, my pick of the week is Philadelphia.   They may not cover the spread but they just need the game so much more than Cleveland.  And playing at home really helps too!  Be wary of TEN at HOU and NE at OAK.  They feel very icky as my 2 year old says.

As some head into the playoffs, many of you need to find a diamond in the rough to fill in a key spot.  Here’s my top recommendations at each position.

1. RB Tashard Choice - Very hard to believe he is steppin’ up.

2. WR Deion Branch - Seems to have connection with Seneca!

3. QB Wallace - He’s got low expectations and easy schedule!

4. TE LJ Smith - Showing some signs of life plus easier schedule!

5. K David Akers - Should get many attempts in next few weeks!

6. DST Indianapolis - Play terrible DET team this week!
