This was a fun weekly post each week last year and I would like to continue the tradition of giving you my slightly surprising starts and equally bummer benches. This week starts with a huge weather warning. The weather forecasters keep predicting that Hurricane Hanna (sounds like a porno name to me) will strengthen and ride up the East coast this weekend possibly bringing high winds to open air stadiums. For that reason I’m favoring the left coast for my picks this week for the most part.

WR - J. Galloway, Roy Williams
TE - H. Miller
K - N. Kaeding
DST - Arizona
QB - B. Farve (new O), M. Bulger (not used to the wind)
RB - W. McGahee (hurt), R. Brown (still recovering)
WR - Chad Ocho Cinco (always disappears), Colston (TB is tough)
TE - Gates (has to prove he’s healthy to me)
K - Akers (looked bad in the preseason)
DST - Dallas (Browns will be behind but will score)
Remember that Steve Smith (CAR) is serving a 2 game suspension and Brandon Marshall has a week 1 suspension to sit out. Don’t be the guy who forgets!
